Kathmandu University contributes Rs 8.5 million in aid to Bhotekoshi flood victims
Kavre, Sept 17: The Kathmandu University has provided Rs 8.5 million as relief support for those affected by the Bhotekoshi flood.
According to Dr. Biraj Singh Thapa, the Registrar of Kathmandu University, as per the decision of the university's executive council, the amount has been deposited into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu University Teachers' Association has deposited Rs 25,000 into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund in aid to flood victims.
Various government and non-government agencies, organizations, and the private sector in Kavrepalanchowk district have also provided monetary and other support for the flood victims.
