Palestinian Killed by Israeli Occupation Forces' Gunfire in Central Gaza
A Palestinian was killed and others were wounded on Friday by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at a group of civilians east of Al-Masdar area and Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij refugee camps, killing a Palestinian who was shot in the neck.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces shelled areas northeast of Al-Bureij camp and east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip with artillery, while Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, eight Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and dozens wounded in Israeli airstrikes and shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Despite the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel entering into force last October, Israeli occupation forces continue to violate it through airstrikes, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeting various areas of the Strip.
