Invest confidently in Nepal’s infrastructures: Minister Lamsal
Kathmandu, Nov 5: Minister for Infrastructure Development, Sunil Lamsal, said the government would bring significant policy and legal reforms relating to infrastructure and investment.
Speaking at a news conference organized jointly by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and the Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) on Thursday, Minister Lamsal informed that government would wipe out legal hurdles which are pending for long.
"The legal hurdles are posing sheer obstruction to construction of infrastructures," he said, arguing that investment-friendly atmosphere was created in the country. "I invite foreign businesspersons to invest confidently in Nepal," Minister Lamsal.
The press conference was held as part of the preparation of Nepal Infrastructure Summit.
