Ghorahi (Dang), Oct 13: CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has shared that the government should carry out its activities by fully adopting the basic norms and values of democracy.

At a news conference organised by Press Chautari Nepal, Dang, at Ghorahi today, he accused the government of neglecting the opposition parties that have made a significant contribution to establishing democracy in the country.

Although the people had chosen a new alternative force in the election held on March 5, 2025 due to mistakes and weaknesses of old political parties, the incumbent government has become failure to carry out works as per the people's aspirations , General-Secretary expressed.  

Similarly, UML leader Sujita Shakya, Komal Oli, UML District Chairperson Shiva Kumar Acharya, Mayor of Ghorahi sub-metropolis, Naru Lal Chaudhary, among others were present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, newly elected office-bearers of Dang District Chamber of Commerce and Industry were honoured on the occasion.
